While Nokia Nseries phones running Symbian Series 60 have had video on the go for over a year now, it seems that those in the North American market may finally see something like it.
Rogers Wireless in Canada has teamed up with Samsung to offer video on the go with a new phone and a new service.
Having experimented with this along with iotum founder Howard Thaw on the Nokia's N90 and N70 when we were at Spring European VON in Stockholm the experience was much like using SightSpeed or Skype Video. Easy to use and you could see the other party easily, though unlike with SightSpeed, there was a delay.
All in all I see video over mobile to be an experience that will be fun, but not for everyone...especially when driving :-)
